Biomedical Engineering Department

Announcement 1

The Biomedical Engineering Department at German-Jordanian University invites applications for a full-time assistant professor position in Biomedical Engineering that will be available as early as September 2006. Preferred areas of specialization include: bioinformatics, cell and tissue engineering, biomaterials, biomechanics, or bioelectronics but candidates in other areas of biomedical engineering are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidates are expected to teach courses and to develop an externally funded research program. Participation in departmental activities and professional societies is also expected. A Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or other related field is required.
