  (7-12-2005) DAAD offers scholarships to a number of GJU students

Emanating from its strong conviction in the mission, philosophy and objectives of this University, and its potential to construct a cultural bridge between Jordan and counterpart universities and academic institutions in Europe, the DAAD has recently allocated 15 scholarships, on semester-basis, for  students pursuing studies at the University. Each scholarship amounts to JD 1500 and is intended to cover tuition fees for the Fall semester of the current academic year 2005/2006. The scholarships are offered on merit basis and will encourage students to excel in their studies in order to compete and be eligible for these scholarships.

The German-Jordanian University has moved from Wadi Saqra to its temporary location at the Royal Scientific Society.

 
 
  (5-10-2005) Workshop : Introducing the Academic Programs

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Workshop, Introducing the Academic Programs at the German-Jordanian University - to be held in University Campus – The Royal Scientific Society – Ground Floor, POSIC hall – Amman – October 5, 2005; in cooperation with Microsoft Corporation. The theme of the workshop is to bring together industry professionals, businesses, and academics to order to explain industrial challenges, market needs and requirements , and to share views with the new students, and create awareness among them on the profession of the programs.

 

 
  (3-10-2005) First Meeting with the students

The university held its first meeting with the students at its campus at the RSS. President, Dr. Labib Khadra, welcomed the new students, and Dr. Dirk Stockhausen from the German Embassy, congratulated the students for having chosen tld a smhe GJU. The German staff also presentation introducing the German course at the GJU.

Application forms are available at any Jordanian post office until the 25th of August 2006. Aplying online will continue until the 15th of September.

 
 
 

(7-8-2005) Introductory Meeting

The German-Jordanian University held an introductory meeting for interested students and their parents. The meeting introduced the University and its unique model, following the Fachhochschulen model of German universities.
