Introduction |

Logistics and materials management programs focus on planning
how materials and equipment are allocated and used to produce
goods and services.
Students enrolled in this program will learn how to manage
inventory, allocate resources, and make sure goods are shipped
on time. They will also learn how to manage staff and use
computer systems to keep records and track inventory. The field
of logistics involves analyzing and managing the flow of goods
within a company; coordinating the flow of work in the
departments of an organization; and organizing optimal route
planning for efficient delivery of goods and optimal flow
control of services.

Objectives |

The
main objective of the program is to introduce the process of
planning, implementing and controlling for an efficient flow and
storage of raw materials, in-process inventory, finished goods,
services and related information from point of ordering to point
of consumption.

enhance the operation of logistic activities.

skills to appreciate the complex issues of the industry and
to provide possible solutions to those issues.

Graduate will be able to arrange the transportation of raw
materials, supplies, and finished goods. They will also be able
to decide on the fastest or cheapest means of transportation and
on different options for storing materials and finished goods.
Graduates will have enough professional skills to assist

producing goods.
