The one-day workshop will bring industry, academia, and local community together to discuss the socio-economic impact of renewable energy and energy efficiency (REEE) implementation in Jordan.

 

Objectives

To give an insight on REEE development in Jordan as part of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region while also emphasizing on the socio-economic impact of REEE implementation in a developing economy. Finally, to raise awareness within in the REEE community in Jordan about the field of socio-economics.

 

Desired Outcomes

To improve the understanding and cohesion among the technical, social, and economical dimensions of successful REEE implementation.

Energy Service Companies (ESCOs), universities, Amman chamber of industry (ACI), ministries, international organizations, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), civil society, local small business, and interested individuals.
