Biography

I completed my PhD in Economics with a specialty in Monetary Policy and Public Finance from The City University of New York/The Graduate Center. In my PhD dissertation, I estimated the Taylor rule with an implicit inflation target. I applied this method to Jordan Monetary Policy and tried to find considerable variation in the implicit target.  In this study, I measured how policy interest rates react to deviations of inflation and real activity from their target levels.

I was employed as an economic researcher in the Ministry of Planning of Jordan and Jordan Investment Corporation. I worked as an Economics Professor in Baruch College and Pace University in New York City/USA. . I also worked at Yarmouk University as an assistant Professor and currently I am the head of management department at GJU
