Introduction

Geotechnical engineering lab of the Civil Engineering Department is fully equipped to respond to the needs of academic institutions, researchers, engineers and construction industries for testing of:

  1. Soil
  2. Aggregate

Equipment

Latest state of the art equipment’s that are mostly fitted with computerized data collection used to perform various types of soil testing to the highest standard. Some of these machines are:

  1. BS & ACI Sieves
  2. Triaxial Test Apparatus (computerized)
  3. Balances
  4. Permeability System for soil
  5. Consolidation Apparatus
  6. Sieve Shaker
  7.  Direct Shear Apparatus (computerized)
