This page is intended to archive useful information for students who are about to start their year in Germany and those who are there now. SEEIT students are permitted to go to Germany if they fulfill the following requirements.

Requirements for Students at the Time of Application

  • Only students who went through the official German procedures provided by the Exchange Coordinators of the School and the International Affairs Department (IAD) of GJU shall be allowed to start their German Year.
  • Students must have a GPA of at least 61% by the time of application, unless they can prove, that they will have less than 33 Credit Hours (CH) left to graduate, including the 24 CH for the German Year and for the students who are planning to start their GY on the 1st semester without counting the Credit Hours they are expected to pass in the last summer semester.

Requirements for Students at the Time of Traveling to Germany

  • Students from all Engineering majors must have passed at least 90 Credit Hours from their study plans in addition to the required German Language courses.
  • Students from Computer Science major must have passed at least 85 Credit Hours from their study plans in addition to the required German Language courses.
  • Students must have passed all the obligatory courses specified by their department.
  • The students’ GPA must not be less than 60%.
  • Students must have completed the 160 hours Field Training at local company in Jordan.
  • Students must have passed English V.
  • Student must register for German VI.
  • Students must have passed all the (099) level courses
