Leading global online food delivery marketplace hellofood has announced the winner of its scholarship scheme aimed at cultivating the spirit of leadership and entrepreneurship among Jordan’s university students.
Omar Hassan, a Mechatronics Engineering student at the German Jordanian University scooped the JD 500 prize for his proposed solution to make textbooks available at affordable prices for Jordan’s student community through an online portal called Kitabook.
hellofood’s Excellence Scholarship scheme recognised Hassan for entrepreneurial talent and leadership ability based on a submitted essay outlining and innovatively solving a community Problem.
