Energy Engineering Department's students will not be able to register for ENE598 Graduation Project I online as it will be blocked; however, the Chairman will give you an exemption to register if you follow these steps:

  • Successfully complete at least 120 credit hours.
  • Find an adviser; you can contact any of the Energy Engineering Department’s faculty.
  • If you, your team, and your adviser all agree on the scope of your GP work, then you, each one of your teammates individually, and your adviser will have to fill out and sign the Student/Adviser Form showing that all parties agree to work together.
  • You must abide by the GP report's template (pdf read-only version).

It is up to you and your adviser to decide on the size of each team. For example, some faculty members accept only one or two students per team but others could allow up to three in one team.

All students must also know that neither ENE598 Graduation Project I nor ENE599 Graduation Project II will be offered during the summer semesters under any circumstances so your GP work must be completed over two consecutive semesters and none of them can be the summer semester.
