They observed how EasyLog’s warehouses comprise of different dry and temperature-controlled areas for different types of goods and retail businesses. Students also learned about the methods applied to deal with these different types of goods, such as fast-moving and slow-moving items, as well as items with sensitive expiry dates.

Students were also able to gain a general insight into the company’s transportation and domestic distribution. EasyLog uses its in-house modern fleet of over 100 vehicles to transport goods within and to the borders of Jordan. The students were also shown the different types of technology and equipment used for different temperatures. The EasyLog Logistics Team also explained how the company manages and integrates the supply chain from the point of placing an order with a supplier to the point of delivering it to stores and the end customers.

This visit was also a great opportunity to discuss further forms of collaboration between GJU and EasyLog, in particular through the Dual Study Programs of SMLS.

The School of Management and Logistics Sciences (SMLS) and Office for Industrial Link (OIL) would like to thank the Logistics Team of EasyLog for their time and effort and the rich information they provided to GJU Students.
