Operations research lab is a complementary element in Operations Research course. It will give the students practical experience of how to model and solve managerial problems using operations research techniques. The lab subjects will cover the following models: Data definition, Production planning, Blending, Staff management, Scheduling, and Networking. Tuple and Excel sheet approaches in building OR model will be also covered in this course.
• Enhancing softskills and use them to solve managerial problems.
• Provide the students with capability of solving real life problems using OR techniques
• Provide the students with the necessary skills required to deal with CPLEX or any optimzation software
