Programmable Logic Control Systems Laboratory

The lab assignments will offer students practical experience with several kits and robots designed to teach the principals of PLC systems. These Kits are programmed using Logo Siemens software, where the student develops and simulates different models and applications used in real life. Experiments contains theoretical and applied material, including: application and hardware composition of programmable logic controllers; functional programming blocks such as logic gates including AND, OR etc. as well as latches, timers, counters, and analog blocks.

Through this laboratory, a student will have the ability to convert logic style problems into implementations of programmable logic controllers, using various digital logic design methodologies.
