This lab is used for Digital Systems to introduce students to the fundamentals of designing and building digital circuits using hardware ICs and focuses on building combinational and sequential circuits, which give the students a good understanding of the basic tools used in digital design, as well as a touch on the gate–level and block–level digital design concepts.

Also, this lab is used for the Advanced Digital Systems to introduce the students to the elements of advanced digital design and the tradeoffs involved in designing a system, using hardware description languages (Verilog HDL) for structured modeling and simulation based on the Nexus4-DDR development platform.
