Learn Arabic and Discover Jordan - Summer Course
at the German Jordanian University

Join us this summer to learn Arabic and explore Jordanian culture!
- Learn Arabic with our intensive beginner's Arabic class from 9:00 until 12:00 (noon) every day
- Meet various socio-political stakeholders (focus on German institutions) in the afternoons
- See stunning nature and historical sites in Jordan on the weekends
- Participate in an intercultural training to experience the Jordanian and Arab culture, traditions and modern local life in Amman
- meet students and staff from the German Jordanian University
- just have a good time this August!

When?
From August 1st until 21st, 2021.
Where?
Courses at GJU in Amman and trips all around Jordan.
How much?
Participation fee is 300 JOD (~ 350 €),
What is covered?
- The Arabic course (approx. 39 hours)
- transport with GJU buses for all trips
- welcome meeting and kickoff event
- Farewell event
- meeting with socio-political stake holders
- cultural events like cooking class or intercultural training
- water during all the trips
What is not covered by the participation fee?
- flight
- accomodation (although we are happy to help and will try to make a deal for a common accomodation for all attendees)
- board (though welcome and farewell meeting are covered, as well as snacks will be provided quite often)
- health insurance
- visa cost (40 JOD, at arrival)
- we recommend to purchase the Jordan Pass (https://www.jordanpass.jo) to cover your visa costs and several entry fees (especially Petra)

- you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions how to pay
- Registration is done when payment was made and confirmed by us
