ADMISSION FOR THE SECOND SEMESTER 2023/2024 IS NOW OPEN
The German Jordanian University (GJU) is pleased to announce the beginning of receiving admission applications for Bachelor's Degree for the Second semester of 2023-2024.
The acceptance rate for major is >=70
Kindly read the following instructions carefully and follow the required procedures before submitting the application.
First: DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED TO YOUR APPLICATION FORM
For Jordanian students:
- Two recent personal photos (size 4 cm X 6 cm). Please write your name on the back of your photo.
- A certified photocopy of your Identification Card.
- A photocopy of your personal page in the passport.
- A photocopy of your Flag /National Service Book (for male students only).
- Applicants with Jordanian Certificates (Tawjihi):
- An original copy or a certified* photocopy of your Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate Transcript (Tawjihi)
Applicants with Arab or Foreign Certificates:
- A certified* photocopy of an Equivalency** issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Education, for any of the Arab or foreign certificates such as (IB, IGCSE/GCE, HSD & SAT II).
- Application fees (non-refundable), the value of (25) twenty five dinars to be paid through efawateercom. ( www.efawateercom.jo)
For non-Jordanian students:
- Two recent personal photos (size 4 cm X 6 cm). Please write your name on the back of your photo
- A certified photocopy of your personal page in the passport.
- Applicants with Jordanian Certificates (Tawjihi):
- An original copy or a certified* photocopy of your Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate Transcript (Tawjihi).
Applicants with Arab or Foreign Certificates:
- A certified* photocopy of an Equivalency** issued by the Jordanian Ministry of Education, for any of the Arab or foreign certificates such as (IB, IGCSE/GCE, HSD & SAT II).
- Application fees (non-refundable), the value of (25) twenty five dinars to be paid in the financial department at the university.
Note: Your application will not be considered if not signed and complete.

Second: In order to qualify for graduation from the German Jordanian University each and every student must spend one academic year (fourth year), studying and training in Germany.
It must be noted that all enrolled students are responsible for all the financial expenses during their residency in Germany, which could be (8,000 up to 10,000) Jordanian Dinars.

* Students who apply for these two majors must sit for an entrance exam.
Fourth: ADMISSION REQUIRMENTS
The Minimum required average to apply for all the Engineering majors is 80% and the Minimum required average to apply for all other majors is 65%. Students applying to the Design and Visual Communication, the German and English for Business and Communication, or the Translation majors with average below 70%, need to pass an entrance/admission exam before getting official admission in the university. Similarly, students applying for all the other non-Engineering majors with average below 75% need to pass an entrance/admission exam before getting official admission in the university.
