On Sunday 20th of August 2017, The Office for Industrial Links organized a workshop for project planning and internal kick-off in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, within the frame of the DAAD practice partnerships project with Technical University Chemnitz “Saxeed.jet”.
Under the patronage of Acting President of German Jordanian University, Prof. Manar Fayyad, the university hosted His Excellency the Lower House Speaker Engineer Atef Tarawneh on Monday 14th of August 2017, to deliver a lecture entitled” The Achievements of House of Representatives in Legislative Reform.”
On Sunday 13th of August 2017 The School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology hosted Dr. Ahmad Bani Younis to deliver a Lecture on “Computational Methods and Ground-Based Experiments for Space Operation.”
On 12th of August the Deanship of Students Affairs organized an “Open Day” at the main campus in Madaba, to successful students in Tawjjihi or equivalent along with their parents.
Three training courses have been successfully conducted in Germany and Italy for the instructors and students from Jordan and Syria in the framework of DESIRE project which is funded by the Eramus+ program of the European Commission. The main focus of these courses is Socio-economic impacts of the renewable energy and energy efficiency implementation.
