On Thursday, December 26, 2019, a delegation from the China Technology Transfer Center for Arab countries accompanied by Chinese investors and representatives of Chinese universities, visited the German Jordanian University (GJU) to discuss cooperation with the university in the fields of energy, technology, and agriculture.

The Vice President of GJU, Prof. Atef Kharabsheh, welcomed the delegation in the presence of the Deans of the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS), the School of Natural Recourses Engineering and Management (SNREM), and the Deanship of Scientific Research (DSR).

Kharabsheh introduced the University, Majors, and distinguished attributes of GJU, indicating the University's readiness to cooperate with the Center through joint projects in the fields of water, technology, and energy.

For his part, the Director of the Center, Shilg Ji, said that the Center, which was established with funding from the Chinese government and private sector in 2016, is cooperating with a large number of Chinese companies covering all industrial and technological fields.

He added that the Center is looking forward to signing a Memorandum of Understanding with GJU that includes mutual interests.
