Upon the directions of the President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Manar Fayyad, the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), and the University's Clinic, in cooperation with the General Services Department, organized an intensive awareness campaign to strengthen the consciousness on pandemic novel coronavirus and ensure the safety of GJU family.
The awareness campaign included lectures for students, distribution of brochures, and staple awareness infographics all around the University's facilities besides installing handpiece sterilization in the buildings.
Furthermore, the cleaning company was assigned to conduct periodic and intensive sterilization visits to the University's facilities.
Moreover, the President decided to form a special committee, headed by the Dean of Students Affair, Dr. Raed Khasawneh, aims at taking precautious measures to handle the variables about the virus. She also announced replacing the fingerprints attendance system with the face recognition system.
