On Sunday, May 5, 2019, the Schools of Applied Humanities and Languages (SAHL) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), held the first Activity Day to celebrate a full day of various activities with the students.

The President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad and Vice President Atef Kharabsheh, the Dean of SAHL Dr. Alaaldeen Al-Halhouli together with Faculty members, students and visitors from Germany attended the opening ceremony of the day.

Prof. Fayyad encouraged the students to keep the great work, especially at the Languages School as they reflect the excellent relationship with Germany.

Dr. Al-Halhouli welcomed the attendees and expressed his pleasure to organize this event with an amazing team and creative students, hoping for more success and accomplishment in the future.

The ceremony included storytelling in six languages, handing honorable certificates to SAHL’s students and the opening of the translation Lab.

The day had fun activities, reading challenge discussion, contests, bake sale, fleamarket, and SAHL’s Got Talents.
