Ms. Kirsten Freimann, from the GIZ Office in Ramallah, Palestine, visited GJU for the first time and was accompanied by Ms. Sarah Griesbaum from the GIZ Office Amman.

In Palestine, Ms. Freimann is in charge of the Dual Studies project at al-Quds University.

During her meeting, Ms. Freimann received a general introduction to the University, had a tour in the Separation Lab of the School of Applied Medical Sciences and most important, discussions with the Vice President for International Affairs Prof. Dorit Schumann, with the Head of GJU’s Industrial Relations Committee Dr. Ziad Abuelrub, with the Dean of the School of Management and Logistics Sciences Dr. Loay Salhieh, and with the Director of the Office for Industrial Links Britta Kaehler, and the GJU Dual Studies Advisor Randolph Galla.

At the end of their visit, Ms. Freimann and Ms. Griesbaum also paid a visit to GJU’s new InnoSpace (in Building M) and were introduced to the activities of the PIE (Project Innovation and Entrepreneurship) team by Ali Alghussein.

Ms. Freimann and Ms. Griesbaum were very impressed by GJU’s diverse and innovative activities and is keen on strengthening the cooperation, proposing that a delegation of GJU staff should visit the GIZ Office in Palestine and al-Quds University soon.
