A delegation from German-Jordanian University (GJU) visits Germany from 22nd to 28th of April 2018 that included the president of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad, Vice President Prof. Atef Al- Kharabsheh and the deans of GJU schools.

The visit aims to strengthening the relationship with the German partner universities, and highlighting the profile of the GJU with its intensive practical relationship.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) President Prof. Margret Wintermantel stated:

"The German Jordanian University is an outstanding example of cooperation between Germany and Jordan in education. It is one of the world's most successful projects in transnational education and is the only university in the country based on the concept of German universities of applied sciences. The innovative approach with an intensive practical connection has given GJU an excellent reputation in the region and far beyond".

The delegation is aiming to visit the DAAD where discussions will be conducted in the areas of Transnational Education Projects, Scholarship Programs and Cooperation Projects in addition to visiting institutions and ministries relevant to the GJU project.

The delegation tour  will also include a visit to the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg-Stendal, where the GJU German project office is located, Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Enercon – Energy for the World, 

Research and Development Center-Magdeburg and German Parliament (Bundestag).
