On Monday, January 7, 2019, the Information Systems and Technology Center (ISTC) in cooperation with the Department of Human Resources at the German Jordanian University (GJU) launched the Online Vacations and Leaves through the MyGJU portal.

Dr. Feras Al-Hawari the Director of ISTC, conducted a workshop for departments’ managers and schools' deans to provide an overview of the new system, in the presence of the President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad and Vice President Prof. Atef Kharabsheh.

Dr. Feras Al-Hawari demonstrated the steps to activate the system in each department and school, clarifying that this way eliminates the use of papers, reduces time and minimizes human errors.

He explained that the features of the online system went through stages of developments and brainstorming through feedback and suggestions from the HR and the Finance Departments where the system was enabled and tested at these departments before the official launch.
