From 13- 15 May 2019, the President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Manar Fayyad participated in Going Global 2019, the conference of leaders of international education at Berlin Congress Center, Germany.
The conference aims at providing a unique platform for knowledge sharing, connecting local, national, regional and global agendas, and providing a global network for policy makers and practitioners working in the field of international education.
The conference addresses the challenges and key issues for international education, where the organizers invite the experts in the field.
For her part, Prof. Manar Fayyad participated in the discussion of is the University of Applied Science Model transferable or is it too European?
On another hand, a discussion paper by Dr. Jane Knight (Knowledge Diplomacy in Action). In the paper, the researcher looks into a number of practical examples where higher education takes the lead in ‘the new diplomacy’.
