The German Jordanian University (GJU) ranked 50 in the Arab world and fifth locally in the (QS) World Classification of Arab Universities 2022, making the GJU among the best 28% of Arab universities.

The President of GJU, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, said that the QS results prove the success of the applied model similar to German universities, where the university was established based on the memorandum of understanding between the German and Jordanian governments to be one of the most successful applied education initiatives globally.

prof. Al-Halhouli added that the university achievements in the essential indicators strategically and academically are related to the quality of education and scientific research, the ratio of faculty members to the students, the ratio of foreign faculty members. He explained that these results fit with the applied German model of bicultural education, which the university is keen to implement with the determination of intensifying efforts in many fields to enhance its position internationally.

Prof. Al-Halhouli pointed out the importance of the German dimension in teaching the German language and building solid partnerships with German companies, factories and universities.

For his part, the Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department (QAAD), Dr. Murad Samhouri, indicated that these fruitful results are the outcomes of the hard work of the academic and administrative departments. He added that GJU is currently steering its efforts to obtain the German Accreditation Council according to European standards, which will lead to distinct educational outcomes for graduates in the labor market.
