The German Jordanian University (GJU) ranked second locally and among (801-1,000) universities globally, according to the QS World classification released in London recently.

QS Classification is based on six indicators: the academic reputation, the reputation among the recruitment companies, the ratio of faculty members to a student, citations of the academic members, international academic members, and international students at the university. It is worth mentioning that GJU was internationally recognized for its international academic members and international students.

The President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad, stressed that the results indicate the distinctive applied education approach implemented at GJU which results in outstanding educational outcomes, a high rate of employment among graduates, and the increase of scientific research citations.

Dr. Murad Al Samhouri, the Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department, said that this achievement result from the diligent work of the academic schools and administrative units at the university.

He added that efforts are intensifying to obtain the accreditation of the university's programs by the German Accreditation Council according to European standards, and this will push for outstanding educational outputs for graduates in the labor market and will reflect very positive results in the level of recognition of the certificate of GJU.
