As a destination for cutting-edge science and collaboration, The German Jordanian University (GJU), has received an appreciation and recognition prizes conferred upon sponsoring the 9th International Conference on “Fractional Differentiation and its Applications” (ICFDA’18), 16th-18th July 2018 Amman, Jordan.

The Dean of the School of Basic Sciences and Humanities (SBSH), Dr Akeel AlKazwine, received this recognition prize on behalf of GJU. While Dr Dia Zeidan received the appreciation prize as the only invited speaker from Jordan.

In line with the theme mentioned above on science and collaboration development, GJU was the only Jordanian university that supported the International Conference on Fractional Differentiation and its Applications ICFDA’18 through international partnership putting mathematics forward though no mathematics program at GJU.

ICFDA’18 was supported by 4 ISI insertional journals along with ISI proceedings for the first time since its start. More than 400 scholars from at least 70 countries across the globe participated in the conference discussing the applications of mathematics to real-life applications.

ICFDA’18 prestigious international prize was also awarded on the memorial of the famous German applied mathematician Rudolf Gorenflo for his novel development over years on fractional dynamical systems and applications.  Read more…
