On Wednesday 25th of July 2018, the German Jordanian University (GJU), in the presence of the President Prof. Manar Fayyad, Vice President Dr. Atef Kharabsheh and a number of schools’ deans, hosted Schools’ principles to introduce them to the university’s academic programs and the most distinguished characteristics of GJU.

Prof. Manar Fayyad stressed the university's keenness to maintain continuous and constructive contact with the students and management in schools to keep them informed and involved with GJU’s activities.

Fayyad explained to the attendees the strategy of the university and its objectives in providing quality and distinctive education to students, by simulating the German applied-sciences model, characterized by their focus on putting knowledge into practice and on promoting knowledge transfer.

She also stressed the importance of the “German Year” where students spend a whole year in Germany, clarifying the huge impact of this experience culturally and socially, in addition to the impact on the students’ personality and skills.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation had a tour at the university’s facilities, including the labs at the School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS), the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS), and the School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management (SNREM).
