Dr. Walid Al-Zyoud from the School of Applied Medical Science (SAMS) - Biomedical Engineering Department at the German Jordanian University (GJU), has successfully completed the University of California San Diego Graduate Fellowship program. The Program involved 12 months of graduate-level course work and practicum.

For the third batch in the fellowship, a team of 32 faculty members was involved, including 4 leading instructors, and 4 advising experts from the United States to help develop the next generation of researchers to carry out high quality and ethically acceptable research.
