On Monday, February 24, 2020, a delegation from Khalifa University of Science and Technology (KU) Abu Dhabi- United Arab Emirates visited the German Jordanian University (GJU) to attract GJU's students to KU's distinctive Master's and Ph.D. programs and scholarships.

The President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad welcomed KU delegation, Professor and Chair of the Chemical Engineering Department at Khalifa University, Fawzi Banat, the Director of the Pre-Medicine Bridge Program Dr. Peter R. Corridon, and Abdulla Aljneibi, Student Recruitment and Admissions Officer.

Dr. Banat praised the quality and qualifications of GJU graduates. He introduced Khalifa University offered programs for the Master's and Ph.D. Degree, stressing that the University focuses on the interactive environment between the students and faculty.

Dr. Banat explained the graduate admission requirements, in addition to other considerations during the selection process such as academic performance, qualifications and previous experience, CV, reference forms, and the applicant's potential to succeed.

On the other hand, Dr. Peter R. Corridon presented the new program at the University that was launched in 2019, the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program. This program is dedicated to graduating physicians who will improve the health of the nation by employing innovative educational strategies. 

Furthermore, he explained the pre-medicine bridge program that provides courses to students who have completed a Bachelor's degree and wish to pursue a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at KU.

At the end of the presentation, a session of questions and answers was conducted.
