Amman- 17 May, 2017

On Wednesday  17 of May, 2017 the Deanship of Student Affairs at GJU in collaboration with the Book Busters Club students organized a special session of laughter yoga  presented by Mr. Nabil Sawalha.

Nabil Sawalha is a Jordanian comedian,  began his theater career by acting in BBC radio plays then he joined the Jordanian National Theatre Group. He began producing series for local and regional Arab networks. He is a Motivational Speaker and Laughter Yoga teacher.

Sawalha extended the concept of Laughter Yoga which is the fastest growing health and fitness system in the world, because when laughter is shared, it binds people together and increases happiness and intimacy. He described that nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh.

During the session, he gave the students yogic breathing exercises, and encouraged them to practice those exercises which make them feel good and  provide them with instant stress relief.
