The Department of Biomedical Engineering at – School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a lecture on Metabolic Disorders delivered by Dr. Kifah Al Qaqaa, as part of the school’s extracurricular activities, in the presence of Vice Dean Dr. Walid Al-Zyoud and Prof. Munib Al-Saket.

In her lecture, Al Qaqaa urged the students to think about solutions to the problems of people suffering from metabolic disorders, stressing the importance of communication and scientific discussion between doctors and medical, biological engineers.

The students asked questions about the role of medical and biological engineering in solving problems of patients with Metabolic Disorders, especially in maintaining a healthy body during daily activities.

The Department of Medical and Biomedical Engineering offers courses that incorporate human’s life and health, such as tissue engineering, biochemistry, and biomechanics.
