On Tuesday, June 25, 2019, The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU) Prof. Manar Fayyad opened the Second Consortium Workshop of the Erasmus+ Project “Master of Cyber-Physical Systems- CPS” at GJU.

Prof. Fayyad opened the workshop by welcoming the partner universities guests from Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, Tunisia, and Palestine. Fayyad stressed the importance of the new master program to stay up to date with the fast development of computer science worldwide.

The Master Program (CPS) is a collaborative effort among EU and MENA countries for the establishment of an International Master Program Computer Systems on Cyber-Physical Systems, with nine partners: University of Siegen, University of Hertfordshire, Royal Institute of Technology, German Jordanian University, Tafila Technical University, Al-Quds University, Palestine Technical College, University of Sfax, and University of Carthage.

The CPS Program focuses on the contemporary recent technologies in the fields of Embedded Systems and Knowledge-Based Systems that provide expertise for CPS education and economic opportunities.

This workshop is a 3-day event, where it will discuss the accreditation of the Program, the curriculum design, teaching methods, and best practices.
