On Wednesday, November 20, 2019, the German Jordanian University (GJU) and the Social Security Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the training field.

Dr. Hazim Rahahleh, General Director of the Social Security Corporation said, the agreement which is valid for one year and renewable, comes as a continuation of an earlier agreement with the University, where an execution plan was developed to begin implementing a special training program targeting individuals, companies and institutions' customers of the Corporation.

According to Rahahleh, the training aims to spread awareness and knowledge of social security and its community role, introduce the security law and its applications in companies and businesses, before the trainees receive a certificate of certified compliance officer issued by the University.

The President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad said that the partnership with the Social Security Corporation would provide a real opportunity to share experiences in providing specialized training programs to the Companies' compliance officers and would serve as a link between them and the Corporation.

The Dean of the Graduate School of Business Administration at GJU, Dr. Mamoun Akroush said that the university would provide logistics services to participants in the training courses, in addition to providing facilities and developing joint professional, scientific, and advisory relationships.

Dr. Samer Al-Mefleh, Advisor to the Director of Planning and International Cooperation a confirmed that the foundation would provide a team of qualified and experienced trainers to carry out the necessary training tasks and provide scientific material related to the courses, in addition to preparing and supervising the participants' exam at the end of the course.
