The German Jordanian University (GJU) achieved outstanding results in the University Competency Exam that was announced by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission recently.

The German Jordanian University achieved the First level -among Jordanian universities- in seven academic programs: Biomedical Engineering, Water, and Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering, Pharmaceutical- chemical Engineering, Mechanical, and Maintenance Engineering, Logistic Sciences and Translation.

While GJU achieved the Second level in five academic programs: Architecture and Built Environment, Design and Visual Communication, German Language, Renewable Energy Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering.

In addition to the Third level in six academic programs: Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Communication Engineering.

The President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad, said that the university seeks to graduate young people with excellent scientific, technical and cognitive skills that strengthen their chances in the market. She added that these results are a great example of the quality of education that GJU offers and its essential role in the development of higher education in the region.

Dr. Anas Atieh, the Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department (QAAD) at GJU, said that the university works continuously in spreading and adopting the culture of excellence among its schools and departments, through the focus on the evaluation and constant review of the programs, study plans, and teaching methods.
