On Wednesday 7th of March 2018, The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research (DGSSR) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), organized a talk on “How to Make Difference? My Experience”, presented by distinguished professor Dean of Scientific Research at the University of Jordan Prof. Shaher Al-Momani.

Al- Momani presented his personal experience as an Arab scientist that his researches were conducted in Arab universities during the past twenty-five years. He highlighted some of the most important papers in the field of Fractional Calculus.

During the talk, Prof. Shaher discussed his teaching and research experience, scientific accomplishments and contributions, the difficulties and obstacles that Arab researchers face in the Arab World in general and his own experience in the field to overcome these challenges in order to produce research of highest quality.

He presented his academic honors and prizes such as the ISI Highly Cited Researcher from 2014 to 2017, the World’s most influential scientific minds from 2014 to 2017 and a recipient of the order of King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein for excellence of the second class for academic contributions in scientific research in 2016.

At the end of the talk a session of questions and answers were conducted.
