The Nanolab Group at the German Jordanian University (GJU) published a study on the detection of nitrite in processed meat products.

Eng. Nour Abu Eisheh, a former student of the School of Medical Applied Sciences (SAMS) -Pharmaceutical & Chemical Engineering Department, prepared the study along with her graduation project supervised by Dr. Mohammad Khanfar.

The study involved Eng. Loiy Al Ghussein and Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli as co-authors. It was performed in both the Nanolab and the PCE Instrumental Analysis lab.
