Amman- 30 May 2019

The German Jordanian University (GJU) student, Bana Al-Omari from the School of Medical Applied Sciences (SAMS) - Pharmaceutical and Chemical Engineering Department, participated in The 6th International Scientific Conference on "Pervaporation, Vapor Permeation, Gas Separation, and Membrane Distillation" held from 14th - 17th May 2019 in Toruń (Poland).

Bana participated in the conference during her Erasmus+ internship at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She presented her research results done during the internship under the supervision of Prof. Al-Gharabli from Jordan and Prof. Wojciech Kujawski and Dr. Joanna Kujawa from Poland. Bana Al-Omari competed in the best poster presentation competition and won the third prize.

In the competition, the jury of professors evaluated 15 students. The evaluating committee took into consideration three issues: the scientific level and content of the work, presentation layout, and discussion with the student.

It is worth mentioning that all participating students, except Bana, were PhD students.

Congratulations Bana!
