On Sunday, February 17, 2019, a delegation from Trier University of Applied Sciences consisted of the President of the university, Prof. Norbert Kuhn and the Assistant of the university management, Christina Schwardt visited the German Jordanian University (GJU).

The President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad and Vice President Prof. Dorit Schumann welcomed the delegation along with the Deans and Vice Deans of the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS) and the School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management (SNREM), the Exchange Coordinator of the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT), and representatives from the International Office.

The visit aims at discussing future collaboration between both parties in the fields of energy and environment, applied technical sciences and electrical engineering and information technology.

At the meeting, the GJU side explained the schools’ programs and specializations, in addition to the projects and achievements of each school. On another hand, Prof. Kuhn presented a brief about Trier University, its campuses, and programs.

The meeting resulted in several ideas for future cooperation that involves engagements between the two universities in different ways.
