On Sunday18th of March 2018, The School of Management and Logistic Sciences (SMLS) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), under the patronage of the President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad, organized a workshop entitled "Ethical Behavior in Business: Intercultural Dialogue".

Participants included 33 faculties and students four universities including GJU; Dresden University of Applied Sciences in Germany; Europa-University Flensburg in Germany, Russian University of Economics after Plekhanov in Tashkent of Uzbekistan

At the opening ceremony of the workshop Project Coordinator, Dr. Malik Al-Sharairi, Dean of (SMLS), introduced the participants to the most important stages of the project and the importance of dialogue between other cultures with the Islamic world in various fields.

The workshop included two presentations in "The Heritage of Central Asian Scholars in Islamic Culture" by Dr. Ahmedov Amanullah, Vice President of Pekanov University of Economics in Tashkent- Uzbekistan, and a lecture entitled "Ethical Conduct in the Textile Industry as an Example" by Dr. Rene Tam, Dean of Business Studies of Applied Sciences in Germany.

At the end of the workshop, which lasted ten days, the participants visited a number of Jordanian factories in the textile sector to identify the most important products and techniques used.
