Quality Assurance and Accreditation

Realizing the importance of Quality Assurance and Accreditation the GJU leadership decided to establish a Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit at the university, in order to think about, plan and take the necessary steps towards ensuring quality for the university as a whole and for the different programs it offers.

The leadership also realized that benchmarking the GJU to the best universities abroad will help the university move in the right direction. Being a young university makes it easier to take the necessary steps to follow the right track towards quality assurance and accreditation.

The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit at GJU is assigned to:

Ensure quality at the university as a whole (general accreditation) and at the different programs in particular (professional accreditation).

To this aim, GJU will strive to meet all criteria required by appropriate national, as well as international agencies.

The GJU applied for and acquired general accreditation from the Jordanian Higher Education Accreditation Commission.

The University also acquired professional accreditation for its three newly established Masters programs: "Spatial Planning “, “Architectural Conservation, and “Vision Rehabilitation”. It also acquired professional accreditation for the two newly established Bachelor programs: “Design and Visual Communication” and “Communication Engineering”.

The Talal Abu- Ghazaleh Graduate School of Business Administration, which is the business school for graduate studies at GJU was accredited for its MBA program by the Federation International for Business Administration Accreditation FIBAA, an Accreditation Agency working to accredit universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland..  This is the first MBA program in Jordan to acquire such a prestigious international accreditation.

Now, after moving to our permanent campus, the GJU will strive to be one of the first public universities to acquire reaccreditation for all its programs, whether bachelor or master programs.
