Internships in Jordan

As part of GJU’s philosophy in combining a balanced mix between theoretical learning and  professional practices, driven by more focus towards practical education, GJU students first gain their practical experience with the industry during an obligatory practical training exercise in Jordan.  This internship experience involves a minimum of 160 working hours and is prelude to any embarkation on the next experience in Germany. Students are responsible for locating training opportunities on their own; however, the University’s Schools and OIL office usually stand in support of students in locating the appropriate venue for training pursuits.

The Jordanian industry is invited to participate in this internship program by giving students the opportunities to get practical training at their premises.

This program is designed to open doors for further collaboration between the academia and the industrial sector. Students would enrich the companies’ workflow by introducing new technologies and knowledge domains gained at the university. Companies are welcome to participate in the university programs by providing students and academic staff with hands-on experience.

In the future, the private sector would get to build long term relationships with the University by getting to know students, who may be hired upon graduation.
