GJU’s method of teaching is characterized by its focus on putting knowledge into practice, meaning that students are receiving applied training, experiential learning and professional excellence oriented towards market and industry needs. This practical experience includes obligatory internships for all GJU students in Jordan and a 5 month work experience with the industry during their stay in Germany.

The Office for Industrial Links (OIL) supports such initiative in building up strong relationships with the Jordanian and German industries assuming that companies are ready to provide hands-on working experience for GJU students by offering training, internships, and field-trips. The OIL seeks to strengthen a university-industry partnership by organizing special business events, career days for students, lectures, workshops, and company presentations.

On the long run a strong network of German and Jordanian companies will be built up in pursuit of supportive industry partners who would not only provide students with this unique opportunity to participate in work experiences commensurate with their majors but will also offers businesses the opportunities to hire graduates who are highly qualified and prepared for the market!
