Mission

The GJU is the result of a strong commitment for close academic cooperation between Jordan and Germany. Therefore the internationalization of the university will always remain one of the key targets for the foreseeable future.
Hence the first mission of the International Office is to accelerate the internationalization of the University by developing strong partnerships with universities mainly within Germany.
The second mission of the IO is to engage GJU’s teachers and students in educational and practical experiences internationally. The IO consults, prepares and manages this particular phase within the study career of every student in close cooperation with the Exchange Officers and the IOs of our partner universities.
The third task of the International Office is to facilitate the integration of international students and scholars into GJU’s world of knowledge.

The targets of the international office to fulfill its mission are:
1. To be an efficient and positive client focused force within and outside the GJU;
2. To maintain close working relationships with her partner universities;
3. To administratively manage the exchange year of all students;
4. To administratively manage the attendance of summer school programs in Germany attended by GJU students;
5. To have the GJU staff gather personal experiences with Germany;
6. To develop new partnerships;
7. To develop new initiatives.
