Architecture is an interdisciplinary field that comprises humanities, sciences, technology, and arts. The Department of Architecture and Interior Architecture offers one undergraduate program with two streams of specialization; Architecture and Interior Architecture; and one Masters Program in Spatial Planning.

The B. Sc. Program in Architecture and Interior Architecture has been prepared in coordination with Lippe and Hoxter University of Applied Sciences, Detmold. It aims at graduating architects and interior architects who can provide design solutions that respect the social, cultural and aesthetic needs of people.
The Department is planning to offer a M. Sc. Program in Spatial Planning in 2009/2010. The Program has been prepared in coordination with the TU of Dortmund in Germany. It aims at graduating students capable of engaging all aspects in the problem solving process in planning to the different types of developmental issues. The Program has two streams of specialization; Urban Design and Urban Regeneration, and Implementation Management.
