GJUMUN members participate in NOSMUN Conference

The GJU Model United Nations Club (GJUMUN), under the support of the Deanship of Student Affairs, participated in the Model United Nations Conference at the National Orthodox School, which was held from 30 January to 1 February 2012.
President of GJUMUN club, Miss Sarah Hall, said that this event marks the first participation for GJUMUN club members in a conference in 2012. She added that the club members were looking forward to gain experience and share ideas with many other schools as they were seeking to learn new approaches and strategies in conducting debates and improve their convincing skills.
The conference covered various topics by comprising four committees; a Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Committee, a Disarmament and International Security Committee, an Economic and Social Council, and a Security Council.

Hall, Nour Aqqad, Jamil HajHassan, Zeina Zumot, Motasem Jazzazi, Abdulkareem
Abuhassan , Ahmad Aljobour, Christian Fritz, Mahmoud Ahwal, Mahmoud Janini,
Raed Haroun, Samia Alawi, Tamer Abu Taleb, and Mohannad Lahham.
