Basmetak Hata’llem Club 7th Ramadan iftar

Basmetak Hata’llem club at GJU
held their first iftar during this Ramadan on Wednesday 25 July 2012 at the
University’s campus in al-Jubeiha. The
aim of the event was to entertain Gaza Refugee Camp children through hosting
them at GJU campus and enjoying an iftar outdoors with GJU students and staff.
In addition the guests took part in various activities and games that were
organized by the club team.
One of Basmetak Hata’llem team members
stated that for the third year, the Ramadan iftars showed huge success where many
of GJU students, graduates and staff participated in these events. A total of 75
children attended the 7th iftar, whereby each staff member looked after one child
until the event was over.
At the end of the event each
child received a small gift and candies as a farewell. The event proved to be
very successful and was greatly enjoyed by the kids and the staff. Basmetak
Hata’llem invites you to attend their 8th, 9th and 10th
iftar that are planned for this Ramadan, where they hope to bring up the number
