The German Jordanian University (GJU), represented by the Center for E-Learning and Academic Performance Improvement (CeLAPI), celebrated today the graduation of participants in the Active Learning Program and the E-Certificate Program, in the presence of GJU President Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, Vice President for Academic Excellence Prof. Iyas Khader, and CeLAPI Director Eng. Qatada Dmoura, along with a number of academic and administrative staff members.

In his remarks during the ceremony, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli emphasized the University's commitment to investing in its human capital and enhancing its readiness to keep pace with digital transformation. He noted that artificial intelligence has become an essential tool for advancing education and improving academic and administrative performance.

He added that the University continues to offer high-quality training programs and adopt modern technologies to build an educational environment based on innovation and continuous learning, enabling faculty members, administrative staff, and students to keep pace with rapid technological developments.

For his part, Eng. Qatada Dmoura affirmed the Center’s ongoing efforts to enhance the digital learning environment through specialized programs in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and active learning, in addition to expanding services and initiatives that support academic excellence. He added that the foundational level of the E-Certificate Program is now available to all faculty members, with incentive points awarded to participants who successfully complete the program requirements. He also noted that advanced levels are currently being developed and are expected to be launched next year.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to participants in recognition of their efforts toward professional development and the enhancement of their digital competencies.

These programs form part of the German Jordanian University’s strategy to support digital transformation in higher education, equip its community with future-ready skills, and foster an innovative learning environment that keeps pace with rapid advancements in technology and artificial intelligence.
