Omaimah Ali is an associate professor at German Jordanian University, at the Department of Architecture and Interior Architecture. Currently Omaimah is the Dean of the School of Architecture and Built Environment, she is living and working in Amman- Jordan. Seeking new challenges to exploit her technical and academic experience is one of her objectives.

Besides working as educator, Omaimah works as Acoustic Consultant, her PHD specialty is in the field of Architectural Acoustics. As acoustic consultant, she had worked for clients from prestigious engineering companies like CC, ENGICON, AJ-Saudi, and many others. When she is not working, Omaimah Loves swimming, hiking with her family. Her research interests are acoustical design properties in worship buildings, the impact of acoustics on the quality of educational environment in the universities, in addition to that an interest raised to cover the Soundscape in Parks.
