إسماعيل أبو شيخة أستاذ مشارك في اللوجستيات بالجامعة الألمانية الأردنية. حاصل على درجة الدكتوراه في إدارة اللوجستيات ودرجة الماجستير في إدارة اللوجستيات وسلاسل التوريد من جامعة هيريوت-وات في إدنبرة. اكتسب الدكتور أبو شيخة مهاراته الإدارية العملية في مجال اللوجستيات من خلال عمله في شركات متعددة الجنسيات، بما في ذلك قسم العمليات وإدارة علاقات العملاء في أرامكس والقسم التجاري في جوديير. يركز بحثه الحالي على اللوجستيات وإدارة سلاسل التوريد وشبكات التوزيع. درَّس الدكتور أبو شيخة في قسم اللوجستيات بالجامعة الألمانية الأردنية في مرحلتي البكالوريوس والماجستير. تشمل اهتماماته التدريسية والتدريبية إدارة المستودعات، واستراتيجية سلاسل التوريد، وتصميم أنظمة اللوجستيات والتوزيع. وقد حاز مؤخرًا على جائزة "التميز في التدريس - 2015-2016" من الجامعة الألمانية الأردنية على مستوى الجامعة تقديرًا لجهوده التدريسية.
