Deema Khasawneh was born in Irbed on 18th November 1980 and completed her school education at Al-Manara secondary school. She completed her B.A and M.A in English language literature and criticism, then she completed her Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction/teaching English as a foreign language. She started working as a teacher at Yarmouk University Model School and as a content developer at CADER before starting working at German Jordanian University as a lecturer.

  • Part-timer at Arab Open University for the Second and summer semesters of 2010/2011.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in the English and Arabic languages written and spoken.

  • six years in classroom instruction.

  • Familiarity with university teaching as teaching English language skills courses at Arab Open University for the academic year 2009/ 2010.

  • Familiarity with university teaching as teaching English language skills courses at Yarmouk University 2010/2011.

  • Familiarity with American culture and history as being an English language and literature student for both the BA and MA programs.

  • Familiarity with basic classroom and teaching methodologies as I was a teacher of the English language for seven years and a part-time lecturer. 

  • Familiarity with designing training courses, workshops, and curriculum development as a content developer at CADER.

  • Excellent command of the English Language, submitted the TOEFL ITP, scored 590 in 2010.
